Our Targets總目標
  1. To fully promote "Learning by Reading". To foster the culture and atmosphere of reading in school, so students acquire and construct knowledge from different fields, and link it with their existing knowledge, life experience and learning experience, and cultivate the habit of self-directed learning.
    全力推動「從閱讀中學習」,推廣及促進校園閱讀的文化和風氣,讓學生從不同領域獲取和建構知識,並將之連繫自己已有知識、生活經驗和學習經歷,培養自主學習的習慣和能力。
  2. To improve students' interest and habits in reading, cultivate students' morality and affection, and strengthen their sense of responsibility for individuals, families, society, the country and the world.
    提高學生閱讀的興趣與習慣,培養學生品德情意,加強其對個人、家庭、社會、國家和世界的責任感。
  3. To promote "Cross-curricular Reading", provide books and resources to support teaching of various subjects, so that students' reading ability is enhanced. To cultivate students' habit and ability of independent learning, and enhance learning effectiveness.
    推動「跨課程閱讀」,提供圖書及資源支援教學,協助各科教學,以提升學生閱讀能力和人文素養,培養學生自主學習的習慣和能力,提升學習成效。
  4. To develop a school-based e-reading and online reading platform in line with the development of school information technology, and guide students to make good use of e-reading media. This will enhance their self-learning ability to acquire and process information skills.
    配合學校資訊科技的發展,建設校本電子閱讀及網上閱讀平台,指導學生善用電子閱讀媒體,提升學生掌握蒐集和處理資訊技巧的自學能力。
  5. To develop library services in one school and two buildings.
    發展一校兩舍的圖書館服務。
